About Me

In a Nutshell

  • I am a surgical oncologist with over a decade of experience managing complex cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, breast, thorax, and head and neck. 
  • My training at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai — India's premier cancer institution —  & Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalassery, shaped a practice philosophy rooted in evidence-based oncosurgery, multidisciplinary decision-making, and compassionate patient communication.
     

Been There, Done That

  • Beyond the operating theatre, I have built surgical oncology units from the ground up — including establishing specialty services at HBCHRC Visakhapatnam 
  • I am deeply invested in cancer care systems, clinician education, and public health communication. 
  • I actively contribute to research and have 21+ peer-reviewed publications, with ongoing work in cancer diagnosis communication practices across Indian healthcare settings.
